Horizontal neck lines
The “rings” around the neck. They deepen with collagen loss and the repeated gesture of looking down, such as when using a phone. They are treated with deep hydration, collagen biostimulators and microneedling.
Your shopping bag is empty
Go to the shopNeck wrinkles and décolletage lines often appear earlier than on the face: the skin is thinner, gets a lot of sun and loses collagen easily. That is why it is common to feel that your face looks fresh but your neck does not. With a medical plan, lines can be softened, bands relaxed and firmness and skin quality improved, without surgery and progressively.
At the office in El Poblado, Dr. Olga Gómez Montoya, physician and surgeon from the University of Antioquia, assesses what causes each change before proposing a treatment. The goal is for your face, neck and décolletage to look in harmony, without changing who you are.

There is no single treatment, because there is no single cause. The first step is to identify what is happening in your skin:
It is for you if…
It is not the right time if…
Each goal is defined during your assessment according to the quality of your skin, the degree of laxity and the harmony with your face.
The “rings” around the neck. They deepen with collagen loss and the repeated gesture of looking down, such as when using a phone. They are treated with deep hydration, collagen biostimulators and microneedling.
The vertical cords that show when you talk or tense your neck. They come from the platysma muscle and are relaxed with botulinum toxin (Nefertiti lift), which also helps define the facial oval.
When the skin loses support and the angle between the jaw and the neck becomes less defined. It is addressed with Liftera® 2 HIFU and collagen biostimulators such as diluted Radiesse® or Juvelook® Soft.
If the cause is localized fat, it is treated differently from laxity. Learn about non-surgical double chin treatment.
Vertical lines that appear with age, sun and the habit of sleeping on your side. They are softened with collagen biostimulators, microneedling or Alma Hybrid™ CO2 laser.
The décolletage gets a lot of sun and often shows spots, uneven texture and thin skin. It is treated with laser, microneedling and polynucleotides (PDRN), always with daily sunscreen.
What is possible: softening horizontal neck lines and décolletage wrinkles, relaxing neck bands, improving firmness, texture and spots, and helping your neck match your face.
What is not possible: erasing wrinkles forever, seeing the final result after the first session, or replacing surgery when laxity is pronounced.
The face is often cared for while the neck is forgotten. Treating them in a coordinated way gives a more natural result. If you are also concerned about facial firmness, read about non-surgical facial laxity treatment.
“Your neck did not change overnight. That is why we care for it with time, medical judgment and consistency.”
Dr. Olga examines your neck and décolletage at rest and in motion, your skin quality, the degree of laxity and your history, and defines what causes each change.
She defines which technique each area needs and how many sessions, honestly and without overselling. We show you each product and its INVIMA (Colombia's health products regulator) registration.
Outpatient procedures, with topical anesthesia or cooling depending on the technique. You return to your routine the same day; there may be redness or small bruises for a few days.
We review your progress between sessions, adjust the plan and define maintenance and home care, such as sunscreen on the neck and décolletage.
It depends on the type of wrinkle. Horizontal lines are softened by improving the skin with deep hydration, collagen biostimulators such as diluted Radiesse® or Juvelook® Soft, and microneedling. Vertical bands are relaxed with botulinum toxin. They do not disappear forever, but they do soften visibly and progressively.
First, understand the cause: thin, dehydrated skin is not the same as laxity, bands or fat under the chin. Start by protecting your neck from the sun every day and book an assessment, where Dr. Olga defines whether you need one technique or a combination.
The skin of the neck is thinner and has fewer glands than facial skin, so it loses collagen and hydration sooner. Sun, menopause, genetics, weight changes and the repeated gesture of looking down, such as when using a phone, all play a role.
Creams with retinoids, antioxidants and moisturizers, and above all sunscreen, improve skin quality and help with prevention. But they do not replace lost collagen or relax neck bands, so they are not a substitute for medical treatment once lines are established.
It is the application of botulinum toxin, such as Botox®, Dysport® or Xeomin®, to the bands of the platysma muscle in the neck and along the jawline. By relaxing the muscle that pulls downward, the bands soften and the facial oval looks more defined. Changes are noticeable from 7 to 14 days.
When laxity is mild to moderate, Liftera® 2 HIFU and collagen biostimulators help restore firmness progressively. When the skin has descended significantly, surgery can achieve a result these treatments cannot, and we tell you so honestly.
We combine techniques that stimulate collagen and improve the skin: collagen biostimulators such as diluted Radiesse®, microneedling with SkinPen®, Alma Hybrid™ CO2 laser and polynucleotides (PDRN). Sleeping on your back or with pillows that prevent creasing, and using sunscreen, help keep them from deepening.
It depends on the technique. Botulinum toxin shows results in 1 to 2 weeks. Biostimulators, HIFU and microneedling act on collagen, so changes build over 4 to 12 weeks and usually require several sessions. The exact number is defined during your assessment.
In our office we use Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® botulinum toxin; collagen biostimulators such as Radiesse® and Juvelook® Soft; Liftera® 2 HIFU; microneedling with SkinPen®; Alma Hybrid™ CO2 laser and polynucleotides (PDRN). All injectable products are INVIMA-registered.
It depends on the areas, the techniques and the number of sessions your skin needs. At your assessment in El Poblado we explain the plan and its investment clearly. Message us ASSESSMENT and we will guide you.
The first step is an assessment, not a sale. Dr. Olga tells you what is causing the changes in your neck and décolletage, what can be achieved and which plan you need.
