Go to the shopRadiesse® is a calcium hydroxylapatite biostimulator that provides support from day one and stimulates your own collagen over the following months. It is used to define the jawline, restore support to the face and, in its diluted form, improve skin firmness on the neck, décolletage and body.
Dr. Olga Gómez Montoya, physician and surgeon from the University of Antioquia, determines whether Radiesse is right for you, in which areas and at what dilution, for natural, progressive results without changing your identity.

Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres, a mineral similar to that found in bones and teeth, suspended in a gel. It works in two phases:
That's why Radiesse is both a support product and a biostimulator. And that's why technique, area and dilution change the result so much.
It's for you if…
It's not the best option if…
Undiluted or diluted, depending on the area and what your skin needs. Tap each one to see the page that explains it in detail.
Defines the facial contour and the angle of the jaw. It is one of its FDA-approved indications. See non-surgical treatment for facial laxity.
Restores support to the cheekbones when the face looks tired or hollow, without overcorrecting.
Softens lower-face folds by providing support from below. See nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Diluted, it stimulates collagen and improves the quality and firmness of the thin skin on the neck and décolletage. See neck and décolletage.
Improves volume loss on the back of the hands, another FDA-approved indication. See hand rejuvenation.
Diluted, it is used for skin quality on the arms, abdomen or thighs, as part of a plan. See body treatments.
Radiesse cannot be dissolved like hyaluronic acid. That's why, more than with any other injectable, the decision of where and how much to inject is a medical one.
If another option would serve you better, such as Sculptra, HIFU or hyaluronic acid, we'll tell you.
"With a product that can't be dissolved, the best technique starts with prudence." — Dr. Olga Gómez Montoya
The doctor reviews your skin, your facial support and your medical history, and determines whether Radiesse is right for you, in which areas and whether it will be undiluted or diluted.
We show you the authentic product, its lot number and its INVIMA registration. We mark the areas and choose the technique, almost always with a cannula.
It is injected with local anesthesia for greater comfort. It takes 30 to 45 minutes and you return to your routine the same day, with some aftercare.
We review the result over the following weeks. Collagen continues to form for months.
It is an injectable biostimulator made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a gel. The gel provides immediate support and, as it is reabsorbed, the microspheres stimulate your skin to progressively produce its own collagen. It is manufactured by Merz.
To provide support and firmness: defining the jawline, softening lower-face folds, restoring volume to the back of the hands and, diluted, improving the quality and firmness of the skin on the neck, décolletage or certain areas of the body. In the United States, the FDA approved it for moderate to severe folds and wrinkles, for the hands and, in 2021, for the jawline.
Both. Undiluted, it provides immediate support similar to a filler; over time it acts as a biostimulator, because it stimulates your own collagen. Diluted, its main function is biostimulation, without adding volume.
It is Radiesse mixed with solution and anesthetic so that it spreads in a thin layer of the skin. It doesn't fill: it stimulates collagen and improves skin firmness and quality. There are international consensus guidelines describing its use on the neck, décolletage, arms, abdomen and thighs.
The most common are swelling, redness, bruising or tenderness for a few days. Less frequently, nodules can appear, especially if it is injected in areas where it isn't indicated or with poor technique. As with any injectable, there is a very low risk of vascular complications, which is why it must be administered by a trained physician.
Not the way hyaluronic acid can. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with an enzyme; Radiesse cannot. That's why the plan and the amount are decided carefully, and we prefer to go from less to more.
The support from the gel is noticeable from day one and collagen builds up over the following months. Duration depends on the area, the dilution and each person, and is usually around a year or more. At your assessment we'll tell you what to expect in your case.
Neither is better for everyone. Radiesse provides immediate support and stimulates collagen; Sculptra stimulates collagen more gradually, with no immediate effect. The choice depends on the area, your skin and what you're looking for. See collagen biostimulators.
It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with infections in the area, with a tendency to keloid scars without an evaluation, or in the lips. In addition, Radiesse is visible on X-rays and CT scans: if you have these tests, tell the radiologist that you have it.
It depends on the areas, whether it is used undiluted or diluted, and the number of syringes your case requires. At your assessment in El Poblado we explain the plan and its investment clearly. Message us CANDIDATE.
The first step is an assessment, not a sale. Dr. Olga tells you whether you're a candidate for Radiesse, in which areas and what you can expect.
