Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body produces naturally and that retains water. Applied to the lips with medical technique, it improves hydration, defines the contour and adds subtle volume. Over time the body reabsorbs it and, if necessary, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase: it is a reversible treatment.
If you're looking for a very subtle change without filler, sometimes a lip flip with botulinum toxin is enough. We don't use biostimulators in the lips: hyaluronic acid is the indicated product because it is flexible and reversible.
It's for you if…

We study your anatomy, your facial proportions and what you're looking for, to define what is realistic and harmonious for you.
We decide whether you need hydration, contouring or volume, and the exact amount, honestly and without overselling.
With topical anesthesia and careful technique, in a 30- to 45-minute procedure. We show you the product and its INVIMA registration (INVIMA is Colombia's health products regulator).
At 15 days we review the settled result and, if needed, make a fine adjustment.
Contouring defines the lip border to give it a crisper shape, with almost no added volume. Filler adds volume within the lip. They are often combined in small amounts, depending on what your lips need.
It's normal for lips to look swollen for 2 to 3 days, and sometimes small bruises appear that go away on their own. The final result is visible around 15 days, once the product settles. If the swelling increases, it hurts a lot or the skin changes color, message us immediately.
Yes. Over the years and during menopause, lips lose hydration and volume and look thinner. After 50 we usually focus more on hydration and contouring than on volume, so they look fresh and in harmony with your face, never exaggerated.
They are the fine vertical lines around the mouth, especially on the upper lip. They appear due to collagen loss, sun, facial movement and, sometimes, smoking. They are treated with very fluid hyaluronic acid and, depending on the case, with CO2 laser or microdoses of botulinum toxin.
That's not our approach. We work with precise amounts and progressively so your lips look hydrated and harmonious, in proportion to your face. If you'd like a little more later on, it can always be added.
We work with Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Stylage® and Croma®, all INVIMA-registered. For the lips, soft and flexible products are chosen that move naturally with the mouth. More about the product on injectable hyaluronic acid.
We apply topical anesthesia before the procedure and many products include an anesthetic. Most patients describe it as mild, tolerable discomfort.
Approximately 6 to 12 months, depending on the product and your metabolism. Lips move a lot, so it usually lasts less than in other areas. With periodic maintenance, the result is preserved naturally.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, always under medical judgment. Even so, our goal is for you to feel like yourself from the very first moment.
