I graduated as a physician and surgeon from the University of Antioquia in 2002. I then trained in non-surgical medical aesthetics, and ever since I have devoted myself to supporting my patients as time goes by.
Along the way I learned that what matters most is not the newest technique, but knowing when a treatment helps and when it doesn't. That is why I study the evidence behind everything I use, and I explain to each patient what she can expect, and what she can't.

Aesthetic medicine done well cares as much about what is done as about what is decided not to do. Many patients arrive worried about looking artificial or being sold something they don't need, and that worry is reasonable.
My answer is honesty: explaining the why before the what, showing you the product and its registration, and telling you when a result calls for surgery rather than an aesthetic treatment. I also study and share the evidence behind what I do, because an informed patient makes better decisions.
According to my practice records, I have performed more than 8,500 treatments with botulinum toxin (Botox), collagen stimulators and lip harmonization, and more than 4,800 procedures with aesthetic technology. Experience is useful for one thing: making better decisions with you.
Before looking at your face, I ask what concerns you, what you are hoping for and what you don't want. Your medical history matters too.
